En este procedimiento el whiskey se enfr\u00eda a temperaturas entre 0 \u00b0C y -10 \u00b0C, permitiendo que todas las part\u00edculas de \u00e1cidos grasos, \u00e9steres y prote\u00ednas contenidas en el whiskey se aglutinen, para luego hacer pasar el l\u00edquido por un filtro de papel que las retiene. Este proceso se dice que no afecta dr\u00e1sticamente el sabor del whiskey, sin embargo, aproximadamente el 95% de estos pasan por este tratamiento, el cual generalmente se realiza con fines est\u00e9ticos, pues el whiskey puede presentar un aspecto m\u00e1s turbio sin la remoci\u00f3n de dichas part\u00edculas, lo que hace que el consumidor no le atraiga el producto o dude de la calidad o estado del mismo.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\u00a0Las part\u00edculas de aceites, \u00e1cidos grasos, prote\u00ednas y \u00e9steres en el whiskey que provienen de la barrica hacen que este tenga el sabor original del proceso de producci\u00f3n y maduraci\u00f3n. Estos componentes son solubles en alcohol, pero no en agua, es por esto que los whiskeys sin filtrado en fr\u00edo se embotellan a 46% AVB o m\u00e1s para asegurar que no s\u00e9 enturbien o nublen cuando la botella se exponga al fr\u00edo. \u00a0Los whiskeys que NO poseen filtrado en fr\u00edo poseen una advertencia en la etiqueta para que el consumidor no s\u00e9 asombre si al agregarle hielo o ponerlo en el congelador se turbe.<\/p>\n<ul><\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<p><span style=\"color: #434345;\"><\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/et_pb_text][\/et_pb_column][\/et_pb_row][\/et_pb_section][et_pb_section fb_built=\u00bb1&#8243;
